Halloween

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So for Halloween, I was originally going to go to Sonoma State with Albert to see Zack and chill there, but tonight we changed plans. Now, I’m picking up Zack sometime after school and we’re heading up to San Francisco State to chill there, and on the way, we are going to listen to a totally awesome CD he made for me a while back, yay!

So I really don’t have anything to blog about and I must post it like, soon, being as it’s almost midnight and I need to make my dollar a day! :pp

Soo, I’ll blabber about…Uhh volleyball!

I realized today at the game how much I’m actually going to miss playing it which kind of blows, but I figured there are other ways of playing, like with Allie in Davis, or open gyms in the summer even though I wouldn’t really be invited. I only have two games left next week and then the season is over. I was kinda looking forward to it, but now I’m kinda not. I like doing a sport, and this upcoming season is going to be totally lame. Ugh

Oh well, at least I might start actually doing my homework. That’d be good, being as I basically got straight B’s on my report card, including Yearbook. But whatever, I’ll do better 2nd quarter so my Semester grades are better, I figure.

Okay gotta post, peace.

New Dog Already?

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So I was just about to write about Halloween, but just as I opened my Today account, my mom came in. She explained how she wants a new puppy. No, not just one, though, two! She apparently found 2 girl yorkies for sale and is going to God-knows-where Saturday morning to look at them, and possibly get them. I’ll be honest, they are so cute, but seems so soon. I mean, Keegan only died last Friday! Oh well, I guess it’s a good idea- now my mom will have her hands full again and won’t be bored out of her mind while home alone.

The names we haven’t decided on, yet. But my mom liked Fiowna and Fergie, which I absolutally am against, so if you have any suggestions, please, tell me!

I hope these ones will be trained though, I don’t want a repeat of what happened to Keegers.

Well, here is a picture of the twinsies:

Cute, huh?

Lamesauce

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So this week, I have a feeling, is going to be really boring. It’s Tuesday and doesn’t seem like anything has happened. Nothing exciting is going on, classes are going by slower than usual, I’m not super excited for Halloween, ya know.

I don’t think it’s a bad week though, just an average one. Maybe less than average, we’ll see.

I don’t really know why I’m writing about the week, because it’s only Tuesday, but I think it feels like Thursday, so whatever. Maybe it’s because I’ve already had two volleyball games this week or something and my scheduling is off, but who knows.

Oh, and also, this week is Econ week. I’m not in Econ, but I’ve been helping out Joey, Alison and Reina during break and lunch selling Cinnabuns and Lumpia, which is really really really extremely good. I can not stress enough how good it is, so worth however much they charge.

I found it really funny that Monday at break, Jake Garcia and Devin Chiappari were selling “Palm Readings” for 50 cents. Of course all the lowerclass girls paid the 50 cents to have it done because they are “Oh my God, soooo hot” and not to mention hilarious. Apparently, my friend Taylor, was told she will turn lesbian on her 18th birthday… Anyways, apparently the guys made a good amount of money, which was even funnier.

Yeah, but anyways, so far, my week=lame, so spice it up for me?

Ugh

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So on Friday I was kind of sick, so I figures instead of staying home all weekend, I’d head up to Truckee one last time with my whole family. We were picking up Allie from Davis and going straight up.

We decided it’d be easier for us to take two cars, because Dad had to tug along a trailer because, well, we were moving out. Anyways, Mom and I went up and got Allie in Davis in my slug bug, while Dad, Dylan, and our Yorkie, Keegan drove in the 4-Runner.

We got up there, had a blast and all that jazz, until around 6 o’clock…We were going out to dinner and while leaving the house, Keegan ran out of the two doors, out the garage, and 3 blocks around to the main street, Northwoods. Allie and Dylan chased her on foot, while I grabbed a bike and pedaled fast as ever. My dad got the other bike and together, we sped down block by block looking for Keegs. Finally, I spotted her and she kept on running. Dad hopped off his bike, jumped for her and missed. I as well got off my bike to try and help but it wasn’t too helpful. She sprited those little feet right past me. I chased her down as fast as I could. About 5 houses away from the main busy street, I heard a car. Fuck, right? Of course, being a teenage girl, I screeched “STOP!” Eh, car didn’t hear. A couple yards from the car, I stood, watching my little puppy get smashed by the left back tire of a peice of shit yellow car with racing stripes. I don’t blame the driver, I don’t blame anyone. I mean, she was the size of a rodent. I can’t really explain how it all went, but it was pretty heart breaking. I never thought I’d be one to cry over an animal, honesty. But the whole family was in tears, it was a nightmare. I think the thing that scared me the most was that if I hadn’t been wearing heel-boot things, I would have ran so much faster and probably been crushed by that car along with Keegan. I had the whole thing just re-playing in my mind all Friday and Saturday, but it’ll slowly vanish, hopefully.

It could have been so much worse, though, says a lot of people. I’m just happy I wasn’t crushed. I mean, shit, talk about close.

And, happy birthday, Keegan. (October 30)

Only 452 Days Apart

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So, today I shall write about Allie, my 18 year old sister, and probably one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.

So Allie’s real name isn’t really Allie, it’s actually Alexis Ryan Cashman. Currently, she is attending Davis, one totally badass college, so I hear. She has a single dorm, so I didn’t think she’d make any frieAllie in Korea. She likes to Travel, by the way(:nds, but she’s managed. Also, attending Davis with her is one of her good friends, Peter, which is pretty cool. I mean, the two of them have been going to school together forever.

Anyways, Allie and I go way back. Well, obviously…we’re sisters. I remember back when I was around 8 or 9. Allie, mom, and I were all cleaning the house. I was cleaning under Allie’s bunk-bed, when I found some wires. You know, the wires wrapped around Barbie’s body and all those other action figures… ::sigh::, well I thought it would be a good idea to stick the wire into the outlet, I know, smart. I got eletricuted, sparks flew, and Allie heard me whimpering under the bed. She checked what it was and I blurted out “Don’t tell mommy!” And whaddayaknow, she goes and tells mommy. I got taken to the E.R. and it was done with.

Another thing we used to  do was play “Santa Clause and helper elf”. It wasn’t really a game. Ya see, I’ve always liked to clean, so Allie and I would play with all the toys in her room and then she’d get tired, and “fall asleep”. But she was never really asleep, she was faking it, that little b****. I’d drag her “sleeping” body under her bunk-bed-like-thing and she’d lay there “snoring”. As she “slept”, I’d be “Santa’s little helper”, and clean up the mess we had made. After the cleanup was done, I’d wake Allie, or “Santa” up, and she’d be so impressed with the clean room! Well, one day, I didn’t play along. I didn’t clean up for Santa. Instead, I went downstairs after dragging her under the bed. She sat their for hours, and was never woken by Santa’s helper. HA! She wasn’t too happy about that one. :pp

Up until 6th grade, at Confession, I’d say only one thing I was sorry for. That one thing was being mean to Allie. I’d always bring up this one example. Allie loved her china doll lookin’ things. They played music and mommy always said to be gentle with them- they were fragile and could break easily. Well, I was mad at mom and Allie one day, so I threw it against Allie’s closet door, then ran into my room, slammed the door, locked it, and cried. When dad was asking me what I had done, I replied with “It was an accident. I was just practicing bowling!” He didn’t believe me. Neither did Allie.

I’m sure she’s forgiven me by now, though. :pp

Allie, if your reading this, I actually do miss you!

9 Years, 9 Months, 15 Days. That’s about 308,966,400 seconds.

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So I couldn’t really think of anything exciting today, other than me rhyming with every word said all day, so I decided to write about

Buisness Man

my little brother, Dylan. We are basically 10 years apart, then the title of this blog.

Stingray

It all began when I was 9, and Allie was 10 or 11. We begged our parents for a baby for days and days, weeks and weeks. Finally the day came when we all went to the city, went out to lunch, and mom and dad told us of the pregnancy. Allie and I were stoked, of course! I mean, who woulnd’t be?

We started calling things, like who would feed the baby? Who would get to sit next to the baby

in the car? Who would get to hold it first? Who would push the stroller? And the list went on and on. For the several months we awaited for the darn thing to arrive, we re-did the extra bedroom, picked

out names, and so much  more. Mom and Allie wanted a girl, dad didn’t really

Cruise care, I mean, he’d be forced to deal with a crying kid at

3am whether it had a penis or not. I, on the other hand, wanted a boy. And boom, the day we

found out the sex of the baby, I was right on, and being the youngest child, I got what I wanted. April 8th was the day Dylan Michael Cashman popped out of my mom. Stacey, my aunt, drove

Allie and I to the San Francisco hospital the next day to see mom, dad, and Dylan. Allie got to hold him first, but I got to give mom the Congratulations card Allie and I had prepared for her.

As Dylan grew up, he became a pain in the ass. Neither Allie or I wanted to sit next to him in the car, we didn’t want to feed him, we didn’t like how he cried and we were sick of Baby Einstein. He was nothing like our barbie dolls. We came around though…for the most part.

His first word was “ball” , and he began to walk. Eventually he was potty trained and fun to watch.

Now, Dylan is 7 and is in second grade. He talks to much, loves Legos as much as I did, lives off Top Ramen and cracks lame jokes. He doesn’t look anything like me or Allie, though. He’s blonde, blue-eyed, and still has baby teeth.

He is gonna be a computer nerd, I know it. He’s always online. He’s even got a Facebook and a MySpace…

Loser. (:

Disneyland Pumpkin Patch

Gotta love him <3

Trip to Tahoe

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

My Weekend:

Friday

So after volleyball practice was over, Anna McKenna came
over and we ate, took showers, and watched Flight of the Conchords for a bit.
Around 8ish, I finally left for San Francisco to chill with Albert. The original
plan was to hang out in SF Friday night and head up to Truckee Saturday morning
after Albert’s cross country practice, but it got canceled, so at 11pm, we
decided to drive up to Truckee from San Francisco. So we drove for three hours
and I almost passed out driving, but hey, we got up here a day early, so it was
so worth it, right?

SaturdayThe only picture taken in Tahoe

So we got out of bed around 10ish and kind of just chilled
for a couple hours. Around 12:40ish, we decided to head downtown Truckee to
get some candy, since we both, well, love candy. That night we just chilled at the cabin and watched a movies because there was nothing better to do…other than hunt bears, one of Albert’s favorite hobbies. So after going downtown and buying six nerds ropes, we went
to Rite Aid and then Safeway. We needed shampoo, and dinner. We had mashed
potato mix, pancake mix, and a random other foods at the cabin, but we decided
we were going to make Bagel Bites, mashed potatoes, corn, and probably more
food later. Of course, Albert didn’t realize we had to get milk and butter for
the mashed potatoes, so I had to run to the market about a block away to get it.
I went to that store a grand total of three times that day, but hey, the cash register person
and I talked about mashed potatoes for while, which is always a great subject!
:p So, Albert cooked the corn and mashed potatoes. Oh and the Bagel Bites, and I ate ‘em. What a good housewife he is. Ohh, and we went in the hot tub. I love hot tubs.

Sunday

So the plan for today was wake up, eat food, take a shower, go to Squaw, go to the church there, chill, walk around, do whatever, then go home. This plan was an epic fail, though. We woke up, took a shower, ate, but the whole other part went bad. We wrote down directions to the church, but got lost, so returned to the cabin and decided to go to mass in the city at 8pm. I figured we’d get lost on the way home, so we left around 4pmish after watching Outbreak. Pretty good movie, by the way. Anyways, we managed to get lost in San Francisco. It was hysterical, I must say, but at the same time, I wanted to kill Albert, especially after the “Oh, I guess there is a difference between 5th Avenue and 5th Street.” We ended up finding a way out though, thank God. Oh and did I mention, we stopped at Jack in the Box for dinner and he took my burger and threw it away! Albert, if your reading this, you owe me a burger. And not a nasty Jack in the Box one, a good one. Get on that. :pp Hehe

My Poem for Jack

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So in 5th period, Jack asked me to do his Modern Literature poem for him about things he carries. Here’s how it went:

In my pocket, I carry a pen,

not just one, I carry ten.

In my pocket, I bear a phone,

Along with my dinner- a chicken bone.

Okay, that’s a lie; I don’t carry a bone,

But it is still true that I carry my phone.

A wallet is kept in my back pocket,

and a picutre of Katie is in my locket.

In this wallet, I keep my cash,

I’m saving up for a birthday bash.

Along with my license, I hold a gym card,

so I don’t get  in trouble or turn into lard.

In my backpack, there is a lot of stuff,

By carrying a lot, I’m bound to get buff.

I have notebooks, books, and more.

So my stuff, I’m almost poor.

I carry an iPod to listen to a good tune,

It’s so relaxing while watching the moon.

Somewhere unknown, I have my keys

To get home for dinner and eat my peas.

There are different sorts of gum and mints,

Along with this, there are handfuls of lint.

Oh look, I’ve finally found my keys

after traveling among the Seven Seas.

I carry this, I carry that,

I carry myself, A.K.A.: Jack.

Yearbook Storytime

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

Once upon a time, in a land down the street, my good amigas, Rainizzle, and Marizca and I went on a super dooper, amazing, intense, supercalifragalistic adventure. Wll, not really. Now, since we are all secret superheroes, we have code names. We are like power rangers. We are like Batman, Robin, and Alfred. We are like ninja turtles. We are a threesome of crime fighting amigas. Rainizzle, a 5′2″, skinny, Puerto Rican, has the ability to transform into a pteradactyl. With this power, she has saved me from now only lawn gnomes, flying killer whales, but also the squirelpians that inhabit my sock drawer. Marizca, a 5′1″ stylish Homecoming nominee, has the power to move objects with her mind. Also, she has the abitlity to stretch. She can not only expand her width, but also her height. With this gift, Marisa has fought of Mr. Fanstastic and Magneto. She has protected me from the flying monkies and their bean bombs. I, Lord Kathrie, have a squidray. Now, not a lot of people know what a squidray is, so I will explain. When I point my finger at my enemie, I can squirt out a squid through each of my palms. This squid will suck out the enemies brain and return to my hand with their brain cells and knowledge. This is why I’m the leader of our team, and not to mention, extremely brilliant.

Together, the gang and I fight many villians, but our current villian is Dejahnellie. This villian is strange and unlike all of our previous villians, such as Count Olaf, and Javarokle. She not only has tourettes, but also used cocaine and meth as a teen, thus, she often has outbursts and itches constantly. This is a huge distraction, but also, Marizca, Rainizzle, and I feel sorry for her and don’t want to defeat her. At the same time, we need to stop Dejahnellie from stealing such items as scarfs, shampoo, cough medicine and gum. These are just a couple of the items stolen from the local drug store in the last two days. Plus, her accomplise, Jaybarnizzle, keeps free stylin’. Huge distraction from crime fighting.

One of the raps she sang to me led to become friends with these two supervillians. So, I will tell you about it:

 Katie’s Rap, by Jaybarnizzle:

There is the girl, Her name is Katie Cash. She looks like a model and she kicks hella ass. She’s kinda a whore, always sleeping around. I think one time she did it on a greyhound! She likes to party, she likes to have fun, I think next time we’ll party till the cops come. Guitar Hero, oh yeah, she’s the best. A child prodigy, Uhh, I think yes. Through shes pretty hot, she’s kinda fat. Too many toaster waffles, and we’ll use her as a doormat. She goes to strip clubs, and uses the poles. No, not to dance on, but to flatten her rolls. She likes the Beatles and thinks she can sing. Always belting out those notes, but it makes my ears ring. Despite all these things, she is still great. Even though she dropped Physics after too late. Now it’s the end of Julia’s rhyme. And I hope this is the best one you’ve heard in your lifetime.

And, that, that song right there, thats how we all became friends.
