Senior Retreat 2009

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So yesterday morning, half of my class and I went to Occidental for our Senior Retreat for two days. It was actually pretty fun, minus some small things. My roommates consisted of Ms. A, Laura Hoppe, Reina Franklin, Colie Stimple, Katie Hitchcock, Alex Kambur and Ashley DeShields. Apparently some of the girls stayed up all night screaming/singing at the top of their lungs, but I was extremely tired and passed out. Also, apparently in the guys cabin they were, well,  having an ‘inappropriate’ talk so Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Fidler got into it. But I don’t really know enough about the matter to discuss. I also didn’t tell Albert I was going on retreat apparentally, so sorry, love. Hmm, it was also awesome weather- rainy (: and we did a couple cool activites. And I got to dance to RESPECT by Aretha Franklin with Jon Patton and Laura…siiick, lawl. Yeah, well I got to go to my first swim practice and then head down to San Francisco, so maybe I’ll write more about retreat later if I’m up for it.

Zune

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So today in art I painted my Zune so now it’s yellow, red, black and gray. Sweet, right? And right now I’m putting all my music on the darn thing. I must say, that yeah it’s bulky, but I like it. I need bulky, because I always break things that aren’t big and bulky. It’s literally like a brick, so I don’t I’ll break the thing. Now, I got my Zune like 2 years ago, but it never worked right because the charger had been chewed apart by my dog. But I got a new one so now I’m figuring this thing out! :P

Uhm, yeah, that’s really the most exciting part of my day, other than spitting on Alison (aka: laughing)

Tears of …Laughter?

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So today I cried several times. The first time was at school with Reina, which is normal for the two of us. The second time was a…memory Albert and I share that he brought up. I laughed for probably more than a straight 5 minutes. I’m not going to share the reason, though….for now :p haha. And the last reason is the one I will share. Albert had to do an oral presentation today for his Communication class. He was suppose to talk about 3 things he likes, I’m assuming, so, he stuck on candy wrappers, computer parts and my favorite, a condom. This made me laugh quite a lit. He told me he’d say “I like candy. I like computers. I like sex.” But no, not just any old sex, protected sex, so he doesn’t get herpes. Anyways, so presented that in class and people lawled and it made me laugh. I would not have the balls to do that.

So, here’s his poster thing without the condom stuck on:

St. Mary’s

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So I came home today to find my parents home early. They had already picked up the mail, which gave it away. I wanted to take my detention out before they got the mail, but whatever. I walked in to find my St. Mary’s acceptance letter. Of course I played it off like I didn’t care, but I actually did and quite a bit. St. Mary’s was my first choice originally for college, but I’m also now considering USF, that is, if I get in. I like St. Mary’s campus and idea better, but USF is better in the long run. We’ll see how it all plays out though.

So yeah, I’m pretty excited about that. But, at the same time, this means I won’t be playing volleyball in college, which I was starting to look forward to. Oh well, I’m sure my college experience will be awesome either way and where ever I end up going.

Also, I got my laptop cooler thing in the mail. Now my laptop won’t overheat to the point where it shuts down. But when I go to college, my mom said she’ll take mine and I can get a new one. (Because mine is so effing huge) So in 6 or 7 monthes I’ll have Albert find me one that is awesomer and doesn’t overheat. I’m excited for that, too.

Today was fun. Now my mom, my dad, and my brother are all going to Chucky Cheese, yee-haw! :pp

Oh, and for all of you that don’t know, St. Mary’s is in California. It’s in a little town called Moraga. It’s about 20 miles from San Francisco. (Yes, I want to stay close to home) They also have an amazing mens basketball team this year, apparently. Intense!

Superbowl Sunday

Published by katiecash91 under Uncategorized Edit This

So I haven’t really been writing in my blog like I thought I would be after I stopped getting paid. I guess that dollar a day was really encouraging me :p…I still need to cash that check now that I think about it…

But anyways, today is Superbowl Sunday…Pittsburg vs. Arizona…currently, the Steelers are winning by three points…but it’s not even half time yet. 59 seconds until the next half. Oh, and the commercials are pretty funny this year…I’ve lawled at a couple.

I was originally going to go to Julia’s house with Dylan for the Superbowl but Dylan didn’t want to, so he went over to his friends house to watch. But he came back like 6 minutes ago…apparentally he got sick of it. And now he’s playing Rock Band with his friend Andrew. Cool, right?

So I’m now sitting here alone watching the Superbowl while Facebooking, MySpaceing, Iming, and texting people :p Such a loser…

And while I’m sitting here writing, I’ll talk about my weekend, I guess. This weekend my parents went on a cruise down to Mexico for my dad’s 50th birthday so I got to watch my 7-year-old brother for the weekend. Well on Friday, Dylan and I went to USF with Marisa and Kayla to hang out with Joe Emde. We met his friend who lives in France. Very cool. Dylan really liked him and the guy was so nice, he paid for all of our food! And then gave Dylan and piggy back ride. Very nice guy.

Then Dylan and I left to go pick up Albert and then we came home. Saturday morning we played Rock Band 2 for…a long long time. Then we went to see Underworld that night. Then today Albert and I made Mac-n-Cheese and a cake for my dad’s birthday (even though it was on the 31st)

So yeah, that was my weeked. I originally had other plans including: Seeing Ink Heart, going to Yarget, going to Coldstone, going to Chucky Cheese and going to Scandia, but Dylan would rather be on YouTube… :p

Good weekend, though (: I had fun (;
